A drug court has convicted the owners of a pharmacy in Hyderabad of possessing and selling spurious, unregistered and substandard medicines, sentencing each of them to one month of rigorous imprisonment with a fine of Rs100,000.
The accused Umair Khan and Hamid Khan, both residents of Hyderabad, had been selling spurious, unregistered and substandard medicines at the Garrison Pharmacy in Hyderabad.
