Film actor Noor Bukhari joins Jahangir Tareen’s IPP to contest elections 2024

LAHORE – Former film star Noor Bukhari decided to serve her country as she submitted her nomination papers to contest the February 2024 elections.

The Bhai Log star is the wife of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) leader Aun Chaudhry and is contesting polls on reserved seat for women.

In Lahore, Noor visited the office of the Provincial Election Commissioner to submit her documents.

As some TikTokers and social media stars are contesting upcoming polls, Pakistan’s ex showbiz face Noor jumped on the bandwagon.

For the unversed, the 41-year-old left the showbiz industry, and later started her channel on social media to share her transformation.

In her film career, Noor appeared in several Pakistani movies including Mujhe Chand Chahiye, Ishq Positive, Mujhe Chand Chahiye, Ghar Kab Aao Gay, Zill-e-Shah, Bhai Log, Saya e Khuda e Zuljalal, and Tere Pyar Mei.
