The Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government in continuation of its nefarious attempts to suppress the Kashmiris’ voice for freedom has banned the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML), headed by incarcerated Masarrat Aalam Butt, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Modi regime declared the JKML as an ‘unlawful association’ and banned it for 5 years under draconian law, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
The Indian Home Minister, Amit Shah, in a post on X said this organisation and its members are involved in anti-India and pro-freedom activities.
It is worth mentioning here that the Modi gov-ernment has already banned All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front and Jamaat-e-Islami in occupied Kashmir for their important role in the Kashmiris’ ongoing struggle for securing freedom from Indian yoke.—KMS
