Caretaker Provincial Home Minister Brigadier (retd) Haris Nawaz called on Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori at governor house here on Monday. During the meeting, law and order measures in the province, strategy to eliminate street crime from Karachi, security measures during the general elections and other matters were discussed.
Governor Sindh said that all possible steps should be ensured to protect the life and property of the people, effective strategy is necessary to eliminate street crime from the city of Quaid, in this regard, increased police patrolling, street crime can be controlled with the help of CCTV cameras. He further said that foolproof security measures should be ensured for the general elections. The caretaker provincial home minister gave a detailed briefing to the Sindh governor on the steps taken to maintain law and order.
