Actor Nisar Qadri passes away at 82 in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI – Famous actor Nisar Qadri, known for his work in radio, television, and stage, passed away on Monday in Rawalpindi.

He was 82.

The funeral prayers for the late actor would be offered today at the Eidgah Ground in Chaklala, where friends, family, and fans would gather to pray for the departed soul.

Nisar Qadri, who had been battling illness for some time, left behind a grieving family, including his widow, two sons, and a daughter.

Commencing his illustrious career with Radio Pakistan in 1966, Nisar Qadri’s artistic journey resonated with audiences for decades. In 2016, his remarkable contributions were duly acknowledged as he was honored with the prestigious Presidential Award for Excellence.

Nisar Qadri’s demise has saddened the entertainment industry and his fans alike, marking the end of an era in Pakistan’s artistic landscape.
