Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) staged a protest in Jammu against the corrupt practices of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), symbolically torching what they branded as the “BJP’s Washing Machine.”
According to Kashmir Media Service, the party accused the BJP of harboring corrupt politicians for political gains. Led by party president Harsh Dev Singh, JKNPP activists rallied with slogans condemning the BJP’s association with corruption, support for terrorism, and collusion with dreaded agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Addressing the gathering, Harsh Dev Singh criticized the BJP and highlighted the concept of the “washing machine” metaphor to describe its politics.
Singh went on to add that the BJP not only welcomed corrupt politicians but is also embracing proclaimed offenders into its ranks.—KMS
