PTI leader and former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has declared that Sharif brothers will now get “nothing” and the public would react strongly if forthcoming general elections are rigged.

Talking informally to media men during his court appearance in Lahore on Thursday, Pervaiz Elahi “There is no chance of rigging this time but if someone tries then people will react by sitting on the ballot boxes,” he opined.

The PTI leader said the Sharif brothers wanted to somehow win the elections but they will remain empty-handed this time. “They are not getting any suitable candidates from Lahore what to speak of the whole country,” he added. He said elections will be held on time as per the orders of the Supreme Court. “All the institutions belong to us and we want good ties with all of them,” he added.

Responding to a question, he said they all will take part in elections as there will be fair and transparent vote this time.—INP
