The Chief coordinator of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) Pir Syed Sadruddin Shah Rashdi has said that if the level playing field is not given in Sindh, the people would reject the upcoming general elections.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is in the slumber mode and the interim government in Sindh is working as a B-team of the Peoples Party. Rashdi said it would be futile to hold elections through government officials running the PPP system. He informed the meeting about the talk with the PML-N delegation and that the mutual consultations with MQM and JamiatUlema-e-Islam-FazlurRehman (JUI-F) were underway.
