Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Saleem Rajput chaired a meeting of the Anti Corruption Committee, reviewed the submitted complaints against the officials of the different governments including Revenue, Registration, Police, Sindh Buildings Control authority, Karachi Development Authority, Department of Cooperation, KatchiAbadi, Excise Department, School Education Department, Union Council, and others.
The Chairman of the Anti corruption Department Zulfiqar Ali Shah also attended the meeting to witness the proceedings of the meeting. The Commissioner asked the department to avoid delay in the disposal of the complaints and directed the officials concerned for the completion of enquiry expeditiously and to submit the matters in the meeting for deliberation and consideration for the action by the committee.
Chairman of the Anti corruptiondepartment observed that the delay in completion of enquiry is causing the delay in disposal of the cases/matter . It was decided in the meeting that the enquiry of all the cases would be finalized in the shortest time not more than one month. The enquire of the cases which are already pending for long would be completed on priority bases.
It was also decided that a meeting of the anti corruption II will be held regularly every month and every complaint would be submitted to the committee for consideration. . Commissioner asked the department officials to process every complain received against any official of any department and take action as per rules and laws against officials . Transparency should be maintained and no recommendation should be accepted to show leniency. Chairman Zulfiqar Shah asked the department to make all outeffort for the improvement of the department .
