LESCO catches plastic factory, 14 others stealing electricity

The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has caught a plastic factory in the Begumkot area of Lahore and 14 others in the BastiSohail area of Okara stealing electricity. According to a statement issued by a LESCO spokesperson, the management of the plastic factory was caught red-handed stealing electricity from the direct supply of LESCO. The accused have been charged 45280 units in the detection bill and a registration case application has been filed.

In the BastiSohail area of Okara, LESCO found that there were only 10 legal connections, but 14 accused were stealing electricity from the direct supply. LESCO has started legal proceedings against these individuals. The LESCO spokesperson said that the company is committed to curbing electricity theft and will take strict action against those involved in this illegal activity. He appealed to the public to report any instances of electricity theft to LESCO so that the company can take necessary action.
