Rotary Club assured of support in welfare work

Staff Reporter Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Syed Qassim Naveed Qamar has said that it is a good sign that a number of NGOs are taking keen interest in the welfare of the differently abled children and Sindh government was already committed to bring positive changes in the lives of these persons. He was talking to a delegation of members of Rotary Club of Karachi Platinum that visited his office on Thursday. Amongst those present were President RCK Rizwan Adhia, Justice of Peace and Member Advisory Council on programs related to differently abled persons Aman Pir, Secretary General Naureen Khan, Shoaib Khan, CEO Falaknaz Fayyaz. The meeting discussed various proposals and projects related to special needs children including adoption of schools, dispensaries, polio eradication drives where they agreed to collaborate with Government of Sindh and spread awareness through various campaigns in different districts across Sindh.
