The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) cut off 126 connections, imposed Rs13.34 million fines and processed 171 cases of underbilling on Tuesday.
In a relentless campaign against gas theft, the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has taken significant actions to curb illegal activities in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad. In the latest crackdown, In Lahore, the regional team took action against gas theft, cutting off five connections engaged in the illegal use of gas and eight connections using compressors. A total of Rs. 11.08 million in fines have been imposed against gas theft, with one FIR filed against an offender.
