The annual event of Times of Pakistan for revising company policies was held on Friday afternoon where important matters for the future were discussed. The event was hosted by Editor-in-Chief Hassan Mustafa and remedies for the trust gaps between media and the public were mainly explored. It was a commemoration event, highlighting the agency’s successful run for the past two decades working round-the-clock to provide the most powerful and transparent content for its national and international audiences.

To fully emphasize the roots of the company, the event was held at the original headquarters in Jhelum. The success of the event was based on the wide-reaching audience that the Times of Pakistan (Private) Limited has gathered since its conception in 2002. The news agency has an astonishing following on all its social media platforms, making it one of the country’s largest digital media outlets, growing rapidly with its weekly newspaper circulation in Jhelum and Multan. “Transparency can be revived only if the public actively takes part in journalistic activities,” the Editor-in-Chief remarked.

This statement opened the already existing policy of unbiased content the company promises to another infallible premise in an attempt to revive the nonchalant relationships between journalists and eventful progressions witnessed by millions of its viewers. “A share in power for understanding the truth behind national and international developments can now be a bridge for this very purpose,” he said, hinting at a possible future in which the agency would directly consider publishing content received from its faithful viewers and the people weary of relying on multiple sources for coherent coverage of their most valuable stories and events.

This key agenda was the pivotal point of the evening where the Times of Pakistan team put forth their newest policy regarding the provision of exciting and important journalistic activities conducted entirely by the public and progressed through their reliable channels. In addition to that, the company aims to provide young and veteran journalists an opportunity to take part in this latest approach. The company has already begun to include fresh aspirants and has started to help them uncover their talents in journalism, film-making, writing and newscasting.

The event emphasized the previous achievements in fulfilling their commitments to the public in regard to unbiased content and in-depth analysis of major events that are directly or indirectly connected to Pakistan. The ineffective outcomes of dangling hypocrisies and inter-media politics were principally examined by the event organizers and the attending guests. The role of media in shaping public opinions in high-end domestic violence and fraud cases was also talked over while simultaneously discussing a firmer set of boundaries in which the use of powerful reporting should be exercised.

“Promises made will be promises kept. Nothing otherwise,” quoted a team member from the Times of Pakistan while discussing the importance of deliverance and results that are the basis of every media agency. Moving over to the end of the event, the scrutiny of protecting the legacy of traditional journalism in the modern era was talked about and concerns were raised regarding this seamless abandonment with the evolution of technology. The team while answering questions ensured the intactness of the sanctity of public values and cultural considerations and revised their agenda of dispersing quality content without violating any social protocols with the utmost professional and executive presence of conduct as before.

In reports of complying with the public concern for the safety of journalists present all around the country and over international waters, working tirelessly to record and report key incidents year around, Times of Pakistan made sure that the public concern was well received and promptly satisfied. For this purpose, the journalists working with the Times of Pakistan were present to address the situation and answered openly regarding such sensitive areas in journalism. The overall underlying note appeared to be in transparent, decisive and unbiased modes of journalism which relentlessly provide the public with clear information without any politics involved.
