FIR against PTI’s workers deplorable

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Peshawar Region President and former provincial minister Atif Khan has strongly condemned the double-standard by the authorities as on one hand FIR has been registered against PTI leaders and workers for holding a peaceful event inside a private premises while on the other, all political parties are busy in holing jalsas and political campaign for the elections.

Strongly reacting to the registration of FIR against PTI leaders, activists including lawyers, PTI senior leader said that FIR was registered against the 86 people including leaders and workers as well as lawyers for holding a peaceful event inside a private premises. He said that there was no violence and no road blocking due to the event as it was held inside a private premises but still PTI was not allowed.

Atif Khan stated that the all other parties are busy in Jalsas and political campaigns for election and the PTI being the largest federal political was being deprived of the legal and constitutional right to hold political event.—INP
