Students from Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir studying in Jhansi city of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh were assaulted by local students.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the local students at Navodaya Vidyalaya in Jhansi severely beat up the Kashmiri students.
The school manager informed the police which reached the spot and controlled the situation. Reports said that some students tried to pelt stones at the police which also used mild force to disperse them. Police force has been deployed on the campus to keep the situation under control.—KMS
