The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan organized the soft launch of the largest women entrepreneurs exhibition 11th WEXNET 2023 at a local hotel in Lahore.
The event aims to inform the Public about the entrepreneurial spirit that will be displayed during the forthcoming exhibition starting from 30th September to 2nd October at Expo Center Lahore.
The soft launch was attended by women entrepreneurs, representatives of trade bodies , media including social and digital media influencers, diplomates and dignitaries.
The Secretary, TDAP, Dr. Fareed Iqbal , welcomed the audience and said that “More than 300 women entrepreneurs will be displaying their unique products and services from all across Pakistan.
This year a number of sideline activities have also been palnned besides exhibition. .
There will be culinary show and cooking competitions.
We have especially invited Chef Gulzar for this purpose. A number of capacity building sessions for women will be part of the event.
Culture performances will add colures to the event. “
The President, FPCCI Mr Irfan Iqbal sheikh was chief guest of the event who raise the curtain of The WEXNET 2023 “Empowering Women through Entrepreneurship” He and other speakers acknowledged the efforts of TDAP for promotion of women entrepreneurs.
The Counsel General USA, Ms. Kristin K. Hawkins said she was committed to “encouraging women’s economic empowerment” and that multiple initiatives held each year supported this.
The WEXNET platform features women entrepreneurs from every city and every province of Pakistan gathered under one roof with their unique and exciting products. The aim of WEXNET is to empower women through entrepreneurship.
