Strike call on behalf of the lawyers’ community was observed in the whole regional territory against price hike on the call of Pakistan Bar Council, as well as boycotted from the competent courts of law to appear because of observing the countrywide protest campaign, Saturday.
The President PHCBA Abbottabad, together with President District Bar Association has unanimously demanded of the care taker government and the Election Commission of Pakistan should announce the date for holding of free and fair general elections within 90 days of the dissolution of the assemblies under article 224 of the Constitution of Pakistan.
Similarly, it was demanded that price hike was imposed by the PML (N) leadership which has spreads anarchy throughout the country, just to sabotage peace & harmony in every nook and corner of the country. The poverty stricken segment of the civil society has been deprived from their children’s livelihood entirely, and such a situation has sealed lips of poor people’s so that they may not be able to launch protest against the responsible authorizes. As such the method of gigantic methodology seemed an injustice entirely. In addition, the lawyer’s fraternity has demanded to stop political assassination of the poor segment, while it’s a right to them to take sigh of relief forthwith.
