Canada beat Azerbaijan in Kabaddi World Cup match

Canada has defeated Azerbaijan by 40-31 points during the 1st match on the 4th day of Kabaddi World Cup 2020 (Cricle–Men) at Iqbal Stadium here on Wednesday. Due to drizzling, the opening match started with a delay of about one and a half hours. However, from the beginning, the Canadian team overpowered
Azerbaijanis and took a lead of 24-11 points during the first half. The police made tight security arrangements by putting barbed wires around the Iqbal Stadium, whereas, walk through gates were also installed at entry points. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali also allowed the entry of underage school children free of cost.
Three matches will be playing on Thursday (February 13). In first match, Iran will fight against India at 1:00 p.m. while Sierra Leon will face Germany in second match at 2:45 p.m.
Similarly, Pakistan will fight against Australia in third match at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.—PR
