Change of constitutional status of Kashmir not acceptable: Speaker NA Mishaal Mullick terms Indian move to abolish Article 370 as open terrorism

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has reiterated support of Pakistan to the people of Kashmir for resolution of Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN Resolutions and aspiration of people of Kashmir. He also condemned the atrocities and worst human rights abuses being committed by the Indian Forces on innocent Kashmiri people in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Talking to Mrs. Mashal Malik wife of Kashmiri Leader Yasin Malik who called him in Parliament House on Monday, Asad Qaiser expressed his concern over the health of Yasin Malik, who has been detained in death cell in Jail in Delhi. He said that Yasin Malik should be immediately hospitalized keeping in view his deteriorating health.
He said that Kashmir issue was a human catastrophe and required immediate attention of the International Community for its resolution according to the UN resolutions and aspiration of people of Kashmir. Kashmir is a disputed territory and unilaterally changing its constitutional status by India by invoking Article 370 was not acceptable to the Kashmiri people, Pakistan and the World, he added.
The Speaker NA said that the government taking cognizance of the situation was convening Joint Session of the Parliament and meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir to discuss the latest developments in with respect to Kashmir. He said that All the Political parties had commonality of views and would stand united on the Kashmir issue.
Asad Qaiser also condemned the unprovoked firing on LOC and use of ammunition on civilian populations. The UN Human Rights Commission should take immediate notice of the worst human right abuses, he demanded.
Mrs. Mashal Malik thanked Speaker NA for his and support of the Parliament on Kashmir. She said that Indian Forces had committed worst human rights abuses against innocent civilians. She said that Indian Occupied Kashmir has virtually become a cantonment after deployment of enormous number of troops. She condemned the implementation of Article 370 of Indian Constitution which had changed the Constitutional status of Kashmir.
The wife of veteran Kashmiri leader apprised the Speaker that she had lost contact with her husband since his detention by Indian forces. She said that he (Yasin Malik) was not hospitalized since report of the Doctors suggesting immediate medical treatment for multiple ailments. She said that the issue of Kashmir must be raised at United Nations and OIC.
Meanwhile, Mishal Malik the wife of Hurriyat Leader Yasin Malik has termed India’s decision to revoke the special status of occupied Kashmir as open terrorism.
“India has openly disregarded international laws, humanitarian laws, international conventions and United Nations resolutions. They are trying to bring all of India here,” Malik said in a video statement released on Monday. The Indian government rushed through a presidential decree to abolish special status granted to occupied Kashmir under the constitution.
“In 1947, 500,000 Muslims were slaughtered by RSS thugs in Kashmir. The Modi regime which is the follower of RSS has scraped 35A and 370 and it has been signed by the president,” she added. Mishal Malik called on Pakistan to raise this issue immediately in the United Nations Security Council. “An emergency meeting should be called and sanctions should be placed on India.”
