Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam condoles demise of Maulana Syed Rabi Hasan Nadvi

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam, on behalf of the institu-tion and its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has expressed deep grief over the demise of the renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Syed Muhammad Rabi Hasan Nadvi.

Maulana Syed Muhammad Rabi Hasan Nadvi was the President of All India Muslim Personal Law Board and also the head of the world-renowned religious institution Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama, Lucknow.

In its condolence statement, the Anjuman said that from the time of its previous presidents, Mir-waiz Moulana Muhammad Yusuf Shah, Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq, to the current Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, the sincere academic, religious and da’wa relations with the great personalities and elders of Nadwa, especially the Mufakkir-e-Islam Hazrat Ali Mian Nadvi and Maulana Rabi Nadvi are unforgettable in every way.

The Anjuman paid rich tribute to Maulana Rabi Nadvi for his lifelong educational, teaching, literary, reformative, dawah and milli services and expressed condolence and solidarity with Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama and the family members in Raebareli. It prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the deceased Moulana.

Meanwhile, the Anjuman expressed deep grief over the demise of Muhammad Muzaffar Sheikh of Nowshera, who was the brother-in-law of Abdul Majeed Khan of Sadrabal – a close friend and a well-wisher of the Mirwaiz family.

The Anjuman expressed condolence and soli-darity with the Khan and Sheikh families and prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul.—KMS
