Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudous Bizenjo has said that August 5, 2019, is the black day on which the Hindu extremist party BJP abolished the special status of Kashmir by scraping Articles 370 and 35 A from the Indian Constitution.
In a message issued on Friday, CM said, “The un-stoppable series of Indian state atrocities on Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) is continuing.”
“Tens of thousands of innocent Kashmiris have been martyred and now by ending the special status of Kashmir, fascist India has been taking away the lands of Kashmiris.”
“The Hindus are being settled and efforts are being made to convert the majority of Muslims into a minority, and the lives of Kashmiris are being made miserable,” he deplored.
According to the United Nations resolution, Kash-miris should be given their right to vote.
The CM said, “Kashmir is the voice of the people of Pakistan, and the relationship between people of Pakistanis and occupied Kashmiris is based on love and brotherhood.”
He said, “India wants to suppress the voice of Kashmiris for their right to self-determination, in which they have become completely bogged down.”
“It is a huge mistake of India that it will be able to deprive the Kashmiris of their rights through op-pression and oppression,” the CM added.
On August 5, Indian government revoked the special status of occupied Kashmir and rushed through a presidential decree.
Home Minister Amit Shah told parliament that the president had signed a decree abolishing Article 370 of the constitution giving special autonomy to the Muslim-majority Himalayan region.
However, on the other hand Chief Minister Ba-lochistan Mir Abdul Qudous Bizenjo on Friday said Balochistan Police Force never hesitated to sacrifice in line with their duty.
In a message issued on Police Martyrs Day, the chief minister said that the Police officers and officials salute the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the protection of the lives and property of the citizens.
On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, I assure the fami-lies of the martyrs that we all stand with them, he maintained.
CM underlined the need for taking a concerted strategy to maintain peace in the province, and vowed that all out efforts will be made to establish peace in the province.
He said that August 4 was the day for renewal of commitment to be ready for sacrifices in the way of protection of people’s lives and property.
“Our doors are always open for the families of mar-tyrs and they will never be left alone under any cir-cumstances,” he remarked.
