Arts council of Pakistan Karachi organized a two-day Hunarmand mela for the promotion of traditional skills with the collaboration of a welfare organization. In the festival an exhibition of handicrafts depicting the culture of all the provinces of Pakistan has been organized in which the Sindhi Ajrak, Topi, Rilli, Natural dye, Block prints, Jundi work, susi bangles, Khadi, Banarsi dresses were included. In this festival the artisans of interior Sindh showcased their skills.
Hala tiles, Kashi’s work and crafts made from stones became the center of attention. The purpose of organizing Hunarmand crafts mela is to praise the skills of craftsmen. In the festival Folk dances were performed on drum beats and flute whilst.
