Wanted member of fraudster gang held, two vehicles recovered

Islamabad capital police Shalimar police team has arrested a wanted member of a fraudster gang and recovered two vehicles from his possession, a Police Public Relation Officer said. He said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City

Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had started a crackdown against criminal elements and fraudsters in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.

According to the details, the Shalimar police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a fraudster gang. The accused was identified as Shehryar khan. Police team also recovered two vehicles taken by fraud from his possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.

CPO/DIG Operations Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari appreciated the performance of the police team and added that it is the prime responsibility of police to provide relief to the citizens and every possible effort would be made to ensure it. He further directed all zonal officers to intensify the crackdown against the criminal elements. “Safety and security of the citizens is our foremost priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard” he added.
