The district administration has finalized a fool proof security plan to maintain law and order during Ashura processions while troops would be in standby to cope any untoward incident. These views were expressed by Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif Raza while talking to newsmen. He said 28 Muharram processions, out of total 145, were also declared high sensitive and placed at category “A”, 25 procession placed at category “B” declared less sensitive while 92 placed at category “C”.
He added that out of 745 majalis in the district, 181 are placed in category ‘A’ with high sensitive, 30 in ‘B’ and 544 are in category ‘C’. Responding a question, Mr Rao has said that across the Attock district 754 majalis which include 66 in Attock, 70 in Hasanabdal, 173 in Fatehjang.
