Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan expressed his surprise over the government of crooks for its priorities, as these preoccupied the police with raiding the homes of PTI members and arresting them or their family members instead of paying attention to fast deteriorating security situation as terrorism was rearing its ugly head once again.

PTI Secretary General, in a statement on Friday, strongly condemned the police raids on the house of Shaukat Yousafzai former minister KPK and at PTI provincial office in Balochistan.

Omar said: “I strongly condemn the illegal raid by this illegal KPK caretaker provincial government on the house of Shaukat Yousafzai, whose house was raided in Peshawar and Shangla.

He stated that the law and order situation in KPK has deteriorated rapidly in the last 5 months, but KPK Police was preoccupied with raiding the homes of PTI members and arresting them or their family members.

Similarly, Omar Ayub said that a heavy police party raided the PTI provincial office in Balochistan once again.

He went on to say that the police arrived there in 10 vehicles as they were busy day and night only to harass the PTI workers. Omar Ayub lamented that terrorism witnessed an alarming upsurge but no one was paying any attention to the rapid decline in security situation in the country.

Reacting to the police raid on his house, Shaukat Yousafzai said that his children could not go for tuition because the van carrying them was taken from home by the Excise a day before due to his absence at home.
