The Chairperson of Peace and Culture Organisation (PCO), Mushaal Hussein Mullick, has paid glowing tributes to the Kashmiri martyrs of July 13, 1931 on their martyrdom anniversary and urged the world to take tangible and practical steps to resolve the Kashmir dispute because it was a constant threat to the regional and global peace.
Mushaal, the wife of incarcerated Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik, in a statement on the occasion of Kashmir Martyrs’ Day, today, said the brave Kashmiri people faced the state terrorism of despotic Dogra ruler then and now they are facing the fascism of tyrant Narendra Modi in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). However, she maintained that the brutal tactics could not break the resolve of the Kashmiri people in their fight for their right to self-determination.
The PCO Chairperson highlighted that the supreme sacrifices rendered by 22 Kashmiris against the Dogra regime would always be written in the golden words. She condemned the notorious RSS-inspired Modi regime for imposing restrictions in Srinagar to prevent people from paying tributes to their heroes.
Mushaal said that the Kashmiri people would never forget the sacrifices of their martyrs and would accomplish their mission of freedom from Indian yoke at all costs.—INP
