PFB President visits Japan’s Next Base Lab

Baseball is an American sport, but for a long time in the world ranking Japan is on top, Japan is the last name of the world of technology alsi, and is at the first position in Asian baseball ranking and Pakistan is at the fifth position.

Baseball is an increasingly popular sport in Pakistan and after the death of the late Syed Khawar Shah, the founder of baseball and softball in Pakistan, since Syed Fakhar Ali Shah took over the presidency of the Pakistan Federation of Baseball, Pakistan has seen significant positive changes in the promotion of baseball and the popularity of Pakistan.

PFB President Syed Fakhar Ali Shah arrived in Japan from the United States to take note of Japan’s long-standing superiority in baseball and various technologies and to improve the game in Pakistan and other countries in Asia.

There, he visited the lab of Next Base, a company that combines sports and information technology to 100% correct the biomechanics of athletes, and inspected the practical displays being conducted by th eir experts.

The evolution of IT technology in the past years has never been so remarkable, but now the analysis of data using cameras and sensors is becoming more widespread. “Next base” want to create a bridge that connects sports and IT through this company which is here to provide an environment where sports enthusiasts can target the next base. They are using sports science to increase the number of scenes where sports people work. Not only can they improve but also be happy with their work.

Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, who is also the Vice President of Baseball Federation of Asia, informed more details in a conversation with Perwez Ahmed Sheikh, media manager of Pakistan Federation Baseball. He says that in this company’s lab, the speed, strength and direction, swing, etc of batters and pitchers are analyzed with the help of cameras, computers and wireless dots sensors on different parts of the body so that their Performance could be excellent.

He assured the company to coordinate with the federations of Asian countries and motivate them to provide clients, and asked them to give special discounts to Pakistan, India and other developing countries.

According to reports, an MoU has been signed between the company and Pakistan Federation Baseball in this regard and now we hope that Pakistan Baseball Talent will benefit from it.—NNI
