The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore and all its all campuses including Ravi Campus Pattoki, College of Veterinary Animal Sciences Jhang, Khan Bahadur Chaudhry Mushataq Ahmad College of Veterinary Animal Sciences Narowal and Para Veterinary Institute Karor Lal Eason Layyah as per announcement of the government of Pakistan observed Yaum-e-Taqaddus-e-Quran and recorded their peaceful protest against the desecration of the holy Quran in Sweden.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmed led the rally in city campus while Deans, Director Chairman/Chairpersons and a large number of students from different departments of UVAS, faculty members and administrative staff participated.
The participants of the walk expressed their love with the Holy Quran as an integral part of their faith as Muslims and recorded their protest of condemnation against Islamphobic acts committed in Sweden.
The rally starting from VC office culminated at UVAS main gate after taking a round of campus. Similar activities were also organized in all campuses of UVAS.
