Director Punjab Arts Council (PAC) Rawalpindi, Waqar Ahmed has said that the scourge of drugs is licking our young generation like termites and it is necessary to eradicate it.
He expressed these views while speaking on the occasion of a walk organized by Punjab Arts Council regarding the World Anti-Drug Day. The young generation expressed their determination to make all efforts to rid the society of the scourge of drugs. AIIMS Foundation Zabir Sarhadhi and his team also participated in the event.
Waqar Ahmed stressed that measures should be taken on an emergency basis so that future generations can be kept away from its harmful effects. He said that it is the responsibility of all parents to keep a close eye on the activities of their children so that they do not regret later. There will come a time when we will be able to rid our country of the scourge of drugs because staying away from drugs is the cornerstone of a healthy society.
