Dust-thunderstorm, rain expected

Very hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country, while dust raising and gusty winds are likely over plain areas. However, dust-thunderstorm and rain are expected in Northeast Punjab, Islamabad, Potohar region, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North/East Balochistan and Kashmir. Temperature of some major cities recorded on Saturday.

Islamabad and Karachi thirty-one degree centigrade, Lahore and Peshawar thirty-three, Quetta twenty-five, Gilgit eighteen, Murree twenty and Muzaffarabad twenty-four degree centigrade.

According to weather forecast of Met Office for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, hot and humid weather is cloudy during day with chances of dust-thunderstorm/rain in the evening and night in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Barmula.

Temperature recorded. Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramula twenty degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-eight, Leh twelve, Anantnag and Shopian nineteen degree centigrade.—INP
