Special classes have been launched at Government Vocational Training Institute (GVTI) Sukheki Mandi, on Thursday. Principal Madam Khalida Rafiq inaugurated classes. A large number of women social workers, mothers, students and teachers attended orientation ceremony. Addressing the ceremony, Madam Khalida Rafiq said that students awaiting metric and intermediate results were taking keen interest in vocational training during summer vacation.
She said that under youth development and poverty elimination programme, special classes were started to provide opportunities to students to get vocational training during summer vacation instead of living idle at homes.
