Suggests immediate polls to attain political, economic stability
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) PTI West President Farrukh Habib said that the current inapt government led by incompetent Shahbaz Sharif crippled the well-performing Pakistan’s economy, as the National Economic Survey for the financial year 2022-23 clearly showed that almost all important sectors remained negative in the outgoing year.
PTI West President on Friday said that that the cabal of thieves nosedived the fast thriving economy in one year, which was clearly indicating from the rapid and alarmingly declining GDP growth rate from the 6.1 percent to the current 0.29 percent.
He alarmed that these incompetent rulers pushed the country back several decades in the one year. Farrukh Habib stated that the National Economic Survey for the financial year 2022-23 showed that important economic sectors including industry, remittances, exports, overall growth targets, per capita income, agriculture and services, investment remained negative. He went on to say that it was the testimony that the gang of 13 parties including Shahbaz Sharif miserably failed to run the country together.
Farrukh Habib stressed the need that the country could not afford any further experiments; hence the much-needed elections should be held instantly, which was the only way forward to attain political and economic stability in the country.
On the other hand Farrukh Habib strongly condemned the detention of former minister and PTI senior leader Ali Muhammad for fifth time and the abduction of teenage brother and sister of Advocate Haider Majeed, as law and constitution were being trampled underfoot.
In a strong reaction on Friday, Farrukh Habib said that it was a very sad act to deprive citizens of their basic and fundamental rights in their own country and continued the worst human rights violation unabated.
PTI West President said that Ali Muhammad Khan was being punished for standing with PTI Chairman Imran Khan, who was first arrested in Islamabad under 3MPO then under 3 MPO in Rawalpindi and afterward he was arrested under 3MPO in Peshawar.
Farrukh Habib stated that the PTI leader was rearrested in ATA case from Mardan and discharged by the court due to lack of evidence and now anti-corruption detained him for the fifth time. He went to on the say that the law and the constitution were being trampled underfoot and the worst human rights violations continued.
Talking about police raid on Advocate Haider Majeed house, Farrukh Habib expressed his shock over the abduction of teenage brother and sister of Advocate Haider Majeed and said that even the worst enemies could not harm women and children in wars but here own countrymen were deprived of all fundamental, legal and constitutional rights.—INP
