Deputy Secretary Development Primery and Secondary Health Punjab, Javeeria Maqbool said that the Punjab government is spending huge amount for completing different development projects for providing better healthcare and other facilities to the people at their doorsteps while a new district headquarter hospital consisting of 400 beds is being constructed at Hafizabad. She expressed these views while visiting site of under construction building of DHQ Hospital on Gujranwala Road. DHO Dr. Zaheer Ahmad, Deputy Director Development Hafizabad Hafiz Mubashar-ul-Hassan and other officers were also accompanied by her. Deputy Secretary inspected different under construction department of the hospital and review pace of work. She said that latest treatment facilities would available to the people of district at local level after completion of this state of the art hospital.
She directed the officers of building department and constructor to expedite construction work on this people welfare project so that people of the area could get befits of government spending at the earliest. Meanwhile crackdown on illegal oil agencies is underway in the district Hafizabad and this crackdown will be continued till complete closure of dangerous business of running oil agencies in the district.
This was stated by the District Civil Defecne Officer Hafizabad Arfan Ali Malik here, on Friday.
He told that 33 illegal oil agencies have been sealed and separate cases get registered against owners of oil agencies with different police stations of the district so far.
He said that there was no room for doing dangerous business of oil agencies in the law and this dangerous business cold cased any fatal incident.
He said that on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Umer farooq Warriach, punitive action would continue in discrimnatly till elimination of illegal agencies completely in the district.
