Provincial Minister for HR&MA Ijaz Alam Augustine has said that Indian aggression in Kashmir was still continued as the violations of seven conventions of United Nations and other international organisations by India.
He expressed these views in a meeting with different representatives of PTI on Wednesday. He said that the Punjab governor on the behalf of the Punjab government sent a letter to 751 members of the European Parliament (EU) regarding Indian atrocities on Kashmiris and controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Act against the Muslims of India is a laudable move.
The minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan as “ambassador of Kashmiris” had effectively been highlighting Kashmir issue and peace efforts by Pakistan before the world at all the international forums. The world community now should have to play its role in settlement of Kashmir issue and also take strict notice of Indian government’s atrocities on Indian Muslims.
He also said that there was no crisis in Punjab and all government stakeholders were on one page. The PTI government was stronger under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and rumour-mongers and conspirators were facing defeat at every occasion, he added. The PTI government was moving forward by taking everyone along and direction and commitments were right.
