The Lahore High Court reserved its decision on the petitions against the formation of Zaman Park JIT. A 3-member bench headed by Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh of Lahore High Court heard the petitions, and the court thanked everyone for their support in its remarks.

The Additional Chief Secretary of Interior said in the court that if the federal government refuses, the provincial government should form the JIT.

Lawyer Punjab Government said that the job of the courts is to tell what the law is, the courts should not go into what the law will be, there is also a question that the warrant of the court was of Bani Gala, should it be executed in Lahore. Lawyer Fawad Chaudhary says that he should have applied to the court to comply with the notices at the Lahore address, but he did not follow the law.

The court reserved its decision after the arguments of the parties were completed. On the other hand, the JIT set up to investigate Zaman Park incidents.
