Wana Gomal Zam road closed

In Lower South Waziristan tribal District the Wana Gomal Zam road is closed due to land sliding as area receiving continue rain for past three days. Although due to road closure, on one hand, passengers have to travel for more than 2 hours, while on the other hand, drivers are charging double fare from passengers and riders.

However, apart from this, the emergency patients are facing severe pain because the distance on the wana Jandola route is long and most of the patients die on the way. Local tribal elders, political leaders and drivers strongly demanded from the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal and Federal Minister for Communications Maulana Asad Mahmood that wana Gomal zam Road.
