Provincial Minister Health, Punjab, Dr. Javed Akram said that distribution of free of cost flour among poor and deserving people under Ramazan Package of the government is pro-poor steps of Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif and Chief Minister of the Punjab Mohsan Naqvi while free flour is being given away to one hundred million people under this package across the province.
He expressed these views while visiting flour distribution points at District Council Hall, Sports gymnasium in Hafizabad on Thursday. DC Umer Farooq Warraich, DPO Dr. Fahad Ahmad and other officers were also accompanied by him. Minister reviewed procedure of distribution of flour, security and other arrangements for providing facilities to the people.Dr. Jave Akram said that the government was started first time in the history of the country to distribution of free flour instead of providing subsidy.
