Claims nation will prosper under Nawaz Sharif
Pakistan Muslim League-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Monday said that workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf were ‘begging to join’ the PML-N.
Addressing an organisational meeting, Maryam stated that the cases against PTI chief Imran Khan were not made on the basis of political revenge.
She claimed that everyone was aware that the former premier lied about concealing information regarding his alleged daughter Tyrian Jade White in his nomination papers for the 2018 elections. Maryam added that his lie was ‘not going anywhere’.
The PML-N leader further alleged that Im ran committed ‘robbery’ in the Toshakhana (gift depository), and was found guilty of foreign funding. Maryam maintained that the incumbent Pakistan Democratic Movement government was not responsible for the ongoing inflation across the country.
“People know that the previous government brought the punishment of economic destruction and inflation, it will take a few years to get rid of the devastation caused in the last four years,” she said.
She said that if Nawaz Sharif came into power, everything would be “fine” and that in the past the Sharif brothers always delivered and helped bring the nation out of bad situations.
“They will continue to bring the country out of problems,” she stated.
Maryam vowed to make the PML-N organisation active at all levels, expand the social media wing and the women and youth wings.
