The President of Indian National Congress chapter in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Vikar Rasool Wani has termed the eviction drive as another assault on the territory and demanded immediate end to the anti-people move.

Vikar Rasool Wani in a meeting of party leaders in Srinagar lashed out at the authorities for demolishing residential houses and commercial buildings of the people in Kashmir and termed the drive as undemocratic and anti-people move, which is being done to terrorize people.

He said that the bulldozer politics of the Bharatiya Janata Party must end, adding Congress will not tolerate this highhandedness and anti-people move.
Congress leader Mohammad Anwar Butt, speaking on the occasion, strongly condemned the eviction drive in IIOJK and termed it a deliberate attempt to create fear among the common people.—KMS
