Sindh approves targeted operation to control street crime: Wahab

Sindh Government Spokesman and Law Adviser Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that the Sindh Cabinet approved the targeted operation to control street crime, this has reduced the crime and they are making more legislations to control street crime and the law department has The draft has been prepared and the Safe City Authority Act has been approved. This year they will complete the first phase together with NRTC. Cameras will be installed at entry and exit points of Karachi.

Giving media briefing of cabinet meeting at Sindh Assembly media corner Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that the Sindh Cabinet meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s House. The Patient Aid Foundation’s grant has been increased to five million. People from 167 cities of Pakistan are benefited in Jinnah Hospital. Earlier Jinnah Hospital had eleven hundred beds. We have converted the hospital to 2208 beds. If someone gives one hundred rupees to Patient Aid, the Sindh government will give the same amount. Besides, a new surgery complex will be built at a cost of four billion rupees, followed by a medical complex.

He said that the Sindh government has approved a new bill to make the Karachi Water Board better and more independent. The approval will be taken from this current session of the Sindh Assembly.
