FIR registered against Elahi’s relatives

Police on Wednesday registered a case against two close relatives of former chief minister in an alleged plot to kidnap some parliamentarians.

The FIR was registered on the basis of an audio clip of the purported conversation between Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi’ close relatives Chaudhry Wajahat Elahi and Musa Elahi (which was shared on Twitter) in which the duo were scheming to kidnap some MNAs and MPAs.

The case was registered under sections of terrorism and telegraph act in the Ghalib Market police station in Lahore.
