PTI, MPA, Syeda Farah Azmi on Wednesday said that voters could exercise tremendous influence for enabling the political parties, government and opposition for strengthening democratic practices in the country. She expressed these views while addressing a seminar on “Need and importance of the assessment of the performance of elected representatives,” held under the banner of local NGO at a hotel. She said that if the people begin casting their votes after evaluating the work-ability of the manifestos of the political parties, then the political parties will have no choice except launching such candidates in the electoral arena who would be having unswerving commitment for influencing the policy.
