TDAP, Ministry of Commerce organize B2B meetings

TDAP in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce organized B2B meetings of Pakistan’s Agro-food sector companies with the leading buyers from Kazakhastan’s side recently at Serena Hotel Islamabad.

A trade delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan comprising of leading businessmen of Agro-food sector visited Pakistan. The delegation included seven renowned companies from retail & distribution, confectionary, logistics, and processed food sectors.

The buyers from Kazakhstan showed interest in buying confectionary, processed food and fruits & vegetables from Pakistan. The response from Pakistan’s side was overwhelming. 54 companies participated in the event.

Participants from both the countries extend the desire to participate in these events more often. They were of the view that such kind of events provides an opportunity to Pakistani businessmen to network with their counterparts based in other countries.

This business forum helped them build connections, find new clients, and look for opportunities of potential cooperation. As a result of this forum, 3 MOUs were signed between Kazakhstan and Pakistani companies and trade negotiations has been initiated for future collaboration between the companies.
