Political Counselor at Embassy of the United States of America (USA) in Pakistan Bradley Parker on Wednesday called on former prime minister of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani.
During the meeting they discussed matters of mu-tual interest and enhanced support to Pakistan in different sectors.Further more Gilani expressed that Pakistan attaches high importance to its relations with USA, bilater-ally. Our relations are characterised by shared de-mocratic values and multifaceted cooperation. USA is an attractive destination for Pakistanis. He said that there has been regular interaction be-tween our two countries and we intend to continue these in future.
The American Political Counselor said that the whole world, including Pakistan, was facing climate change.
He expressed regret over the devastation of floods in Pakistan and also assured cooperation.
