‘Wisdom, knowledge vital for peace, society uplift’

President of Think Tank Institute of Peace and Development (INSPAD) Dr. Muhammad Tahir Tabassum has said knowledge, wisdom, practice and training are key steps needed for peace and development in the society. He said that unless the youth of country have peace, tolerance, and technology and they will not organize the trend of leadership, education and training, it is not possible to cure the social deterioration. In our institutions and officers till now there is a process of reverse development due to which stagnation has arisen.

He was speaking during his visit to the ‘The International Leadership Training Institute’ (TILTI) on Friday and talking to the President and CEO of TILTI, Mr. James Liton. INSPAD Secretary General Mrs Kishwar Aqeel, Secretary Media Shahid Nauman and Secretary Finance Muhammad Aqeel Khan were also with him.

Dr. Muhammad Tahir Tabassum said that educational complications are increasing in the young generation, the disease of immorality, drugs and disrespect to elders is taking root and its treatment is not only the responsibility of the government and educational institutions but parents and intellectuals for this. We have to play our role. Government and semi government organizations should plan strategy for it.

He highly appreciated the two-year performance of TILTI and also appreciated the hard work and management of Mr. James Liton head of TILTI, Emphasizing the need for cooperation and encouragement with institutions like TILTI, the meeting also discussed the possibility of mutual cooperation in near future.

Ms. Shamaila Amir Program Coordinator gave a detail briefing about the institution, Mr. Mansoor Usman, consultant -Relation and communication, Mr. Moon Ashraf – Manager Operation and Mr. Saima Arif, Manager HR and Finance were present at the meeting. A special lunch was organized for guests, bouquets were presented to the guests while the shield was presented to Dr. Muhammad Tahir Tabassum by James Liton CEO TILTI.—INP
