In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, India’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached the house of illegally detained All Parties Hurriyat Conference senior leader Shabbir Ahmad Shah in Srinagar. The house, worth Rs 21.80 lakh, is located in Botshah Colony, Sanat Nagar, in Srinagar.

Jailed APHC leader, Shabbir Shah has been facing illegal detention in Indian Tihar jail on fake cases made by dreaded Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) in May 2017 under black law, Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).

Meanwhile, APHC-AJK chapter Convener, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, in a statement issued in Islamabad denounced the Indian Enforcement Directorate (ED) for attaching the house of Shabbir Ahmad Shah. He also condemned the arrest of Hurriyat leader Molvi Bashir Ahmed Irfani.

He said that Kashmiris could not be intimidated by such brutal tactics. He urged India to stop its policy of military force on Kashmir and take steps to settle the lingering Kashmir dispute in accordance with the United Nations resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.—KMS
