In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian policeman was killed after being hit by a vehicle in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district. Officials said two persons including a Special Police Officer (SPO) of the Indian police were injured after an unknown vehicle hit them in Drugmulla area of the district on Friday evening. They said that the injured were taken to a nearby hospital, from where the SPO Mohammad Sarfaraz Kataria, with critical injuries was referred to a hospital in Srinagar. They said that the SPO succumbed to his injuries, today. The officials said the other person Irshad Ahmad Khari is under treatment.—KMS
