The district administration has tied up with the health department for providing free treatment to the residents of Birote Khurd by organizing regular medical camps. District administration Abbottabad held its second medical camp in BHU Mohra, an area of Abbottabad district which lacks basic amenities like poor water supply and medical facilities. At the camp, a team of specialists administered medical care to over 400 villagers including children and elders and also provided free medication.
Talking to this correspondent, Deputy District Health Officer (DDHO) Abbottabad Doctor Shahzad Iqbal said that the villagers were guided and educated about the best practices for health and hygiene during the present harsh winter weather to prevent cold related ailments, adding that ENT, Dermatology, Gynaecology.
