Mian Aslam takes relief goods from UAE at airport

The special plane of United Arab Emirates by taking relief goods reached Lahore today. On the direction of Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaz Elahi, Provincial Minister for Industries and Housing Mian Aslam Iqbal received the relief goods at the airport coming from UAE.

Charge D Affairs of UAE Embassy Rashid Al Ali handed over the relief goods to the Provincial Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal. Provincial Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal while talking on the occasion said that we are grateful to the UAE for sending relief goods for the flood affectees of Punjab. He said that UAE is standing with Pakistan in every difficult hour adding that the relief goods being sent by the UAE will soon be distributed among the affectees. Provincial Minister apprised the Charge D Affairs of UAE and the delegation about the ongoing relief activities in the flood affected areas.

Mian Aslam Iqbal thanked the UAE delegation on behalf of Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaz Elahi for sending the relief goods. Meanwhile, CM Pervaiz Elahi thanked the UAE and their Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zabi adding that the UAE government has always greatly helped the people of Pakistan in every time of difficulty and trial.

CM stated that the friendship of Pakistan and the brotherly Islamic country UAE is tied in eternal relationships. Pervaz Elahi said that the relief goods being received from the UAE will be distributed among the flood affectees and the needs of the affectees will be fulfilled. Charge D Affairs of UAE Embassy Rashid Al Ali said that it is our duty to help our Pakistani flood affected brothers and sisters.

Charge D Affairs of UAE Embassy Rashid Al Ali, First Secretary Juma Al-Kaabi, Second Secretary Ahmad Al-Muhassan, Third Secretary Hussain Al-Balooshi, Military Attaché Colonel Staff Engineer Mohamed Ali Al-Naqbi, Assistant Military Attaché Younis Ablbloshi, Assistant Military Attaché Omer Almeheri, and Chief of Protocol UAE Embassy Islamabad Khalil Ahmed Awan were also present on the occasion. Senior Member Board of Revenue, Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Commissioner Lahore Division, Secretary Information, DGPR and concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
