So far 19412 animals have been vaccinated to prevent Lumpy Skin disease in the tribal district of South Waziristan, and the vaccination process is still going on, our teams are going door to door in different areas of the district to apply vaccination contracts.
Lumpy skin disease cannot be transmitted to humans except in large animals, nor can it be transmitted to small animals such as sheep and goats. Assistant Director of Livestock Department, South Waziristan Tribal District, Dr. Noor Sultan told media representatives.
